The Eagles capped off the 2009 regular season at home with wins over the 49ers and Broncos. However, with the No. 6 seed in the NFC playoffs, the team did not have the opportunity to host a postseason game. The Eagles fell to the Cowboys in the Wild Card round of the NFC playoffs. For a second straight year, Philadelphia finished the season with a 6-2 mark on home turf, including victories in its final three contests at Lincoln Financial Field. The regular season campaign was especially good for DeSean Jackson, Leonard Weaver, Jason Peters, David Akers, Trent Cole and Asante Samuel, all of whom were voted to the Pro Bowl. The Eagles thank you the fans for all of your continued support and look forward to bigger and better things in 2010. And if you're looking ahead to next season, the Eagles' 2010 home slate will include games against Green Bay, Minnesota, Houston, Indianapolis and Atlanta as well as NFC East rivals Dallas, Washington and the New York Giants. Check back in March and April as preseason and regular season schedules are announced. |
