Eagles Unveil 2013 Schedule
The Philadelphia Eagles open their 2013 regular season with a nationally televised Monday Night Football game against quarterback Robert Griffin III and the Washington Redskins on September 9 at FedEx Field, the first of two nationally televised games in the opening three weeks of the Eagles' season. The game is part of an ESPN doubleheader and kicks off at 7:10 p.m. It is just the second time in history that the Eagles have kicked off the regular season on Monday Night Football.
Following the road opener, Philadelphia plays the San Diego Chargers at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday, September 15, and then hosts the Kansas City Chiefs and head coach Andy Reid in a Thursday Night broadcast on September 19. The game will be televised on the NFL Network at 8:25 p.m. The schedule also features three consecutive road games at Denver (Sunday, September 29), New York Giants (Sunday, October 6) and Tampa Bay (Sunday, October 13).
